Christmas Performance

Hi there!

Firstly, sorry that I haven't written an entry for ages, but that's because my blog wasn't showing up on my computer.

Anyway, on Friday the 16th I went out with my Nanny and Grandad to Thursford. I walked to their house after school, and had some toast to be 'going on with' until tea-time. After a while, my Nanny asked me to put my shoes and coat on, so I did. Soon I was bumping along in my Grandad's car, heading for 'MEADOW WAY CHAPEL'..........

When we arrived we (me, my Nanny & Grandad), had to wait in the car for about half an hour for the coach to arrive. It was pouring with rain, and I was feeling a bit queasy as I get travell sick. Finally, the coach arrived and everyone clambered up and got into their seats. I sat next to Nanny, and Grandad sat behind us with 'Mary,' a friend of his.

The journey took about 45mins, and I sat happily eating a packed-lunch that Nanny had prepared for me the night before. Unfortunatley, when we arrived I realised that there was lots of other coaches in the car park just like ours! Luckily, a small teddy hung from the ceiling of our coach, so then we'd remember which was which.

Before the show we looked round the beautiful displays in shop windows, and the winding christmas lights, circling the huge trees. Just as I was browsing through a shelf of soft tofys in one of the many shop's, a mans voice rang out saying that the show was to start in 10mins. Briskly, Nanny grabbed my hand, and pulled me through the crowd.

Soon, we were sitting in our seats
and the show had begun.......

I'm afraid I have to stop there, so stay right there and wait for the next part of the story.
