The Bobbyflink

The Bobbyflink is a mammal, which means that it does not have its babies in eggs. It is also a vertebrate, so it has a backbone. They can live for up to 1000yrs old and maybe even 1050!

Bobbyflinks like damp, dark and warm places, which is why their main habitat is inside hollow trees. However, some Bobbyflinks live underground or under paving slabs in gardens. Some live in caves or even inside bins and other dark, damp places like that. Inside their habitats they have stones and pebbles, for they do about ¼ of the everyday things we’re used to. For instance; eating dinner up the table!

An adult, male Bobbyflink is about 12mm and has bright green fluff. In addition to this, adult female Bobbyflink is 8mm with blue fluff, and the baby is 3mm when first born. The baby is bright pink/bright yellow depending on whether it’s a boy or girl. They are small, vole like creatures with a large mouth and orange, canine teeth. Most Bobbyflinks have extremely long hair (unless you refer to 1 special specie named the short-haired Bobbyflink), that is used as clothing.

When alone, a Bobbyflink eats mould, bacteria and dead skin. It ‘hoovers’ up through its large mouth. When hunting in a large pack, they mostly focus on a wide range of different mini-beasts.

The Bobbyflinks only danger is death at birth, for no other animal chooses to eat it. However, occasionally it will be mistaken for a spider, which means that birds will suffer from beak infection as the Bobbyflinks have a dangerous disease.

By the way a Bobbyflink isn't a real animal as you might have guessed!

For a moment, Dredwana almost felt sorry for the poor child, who was curled up in a ball, on a purple beanbag, clutching a pink teddy in her sweaty hands. Unfortunately, the witch screeched with laughter, as she grasped the teddy, from the girl’s hands. At first, Dredwana pretended to cuddle the teddy, and the girl almost smiled. But then, the witch shrieked again, as she shredded the teddy into pieces, and popped them into her mouth, chewing them with her blood red teeth.
The little girl screamed and jumped up in fright.
Dredwana’s straggled; greasy hair was a frightening sight, let alone the snake lurching out of her toothless mouth, and the chain of dead spiders hanging round her wiry neck!
“Tell me your name.’’ demanded the witch, “or else I’ll look into your mind and find out myself!”
“H…h…hel…len…n...nn,” She stuttered.
“Helen who?” queried the witch
“W…w…waitslon.”
“Helen Waitslon, am I correct?” Helen nodded. Suddenly the horrid witch raised her hand and hit the wall. The wall opened to reveal a colourful mist.
“Follow me, and I will take you to my home planet……….”
