7 Brides for 7 Brothers

On Saturday, I went to my best friend's (Elizabeth), birthday party. It was at the Theatre Royal, and I was the only one she invited, because she was only aloud to have one friend with her to the theatre. It was to see 7 Brides for 7 Brothers. Soon we were seated, and we had pretty good seats at that!
There was the silouet of a lady's head in the centre of the stage, just near the bottom. It was quite disturbing, but could have been worse if I hadn't of had the stroke of luck I did, about 10mins before it started...

I always test the binoculars when I sit down, just in case someone put 50p in and didn't use them, or simply didn't put them back properly. Ages ago, I was at the Christmas panto, and I tested the binoculars (told you I always test them!), and they came out!!! This time, the same thing happened! I don't know if it was because I pulled them to the left, then the right and then they came out, but it was still lucky!

Anyway, the show was brilliant. It was... colourful I guess, because of all the wonderful costumes, but it was also full packed with actoin, dancing, songs and loads more! My favorite song was 'Going Courting' which was a song where Millie was teaching the 7 brothers to be polite. My favorite part, was when the boys kidnapped the girls, and one boy pretended to be the girls cat so that she would come out of the house. Unfortunatley, the dad came outside and imitated the boy. Just as he said 'Mi-' the boy plonked him on the head and so he finished it with 'Oww!'

Overall, it was a brilliant performence, and I give it 5 stars out of 5! (*****)

    Hello Gabbie,

Sounds like it was as much fun as we had on the Thursday night...but I had to put up with Natz singing in my ear!!! Though that was really good sometimes!!!! Her voice suited the male voices the best!!!!
